Apple’s refreshed iMacs should be hitting stores in late April or early May. A new line of iMac all-in-one desktop computers should come with the Sandy Bridge processors and the new high-speed Thunderbolt port, but no major cosmetic changes.
Thunderbolt is a new port for high-speed peripherals and displays. Dubbed “one connector to rule them all,” it’s a single 10Gbps cable that consolidates almost all existing ports, from FireWire to USB to miniDisplay to eSATA.
Maybe Apple will offer SSD's as a standard storage in the new iMac and maybe will see the prices drop a little.
